The Ministry’s alarming forecast: Poverty will engulf children

Data on children at risk of being taken from their families due to neglect has revealed that poverty in Turkey is set to deepen further. It is projected that the number of children unable to be cared for by their own families – estimated to reach 195,000 by the end of 2026 – will rise to 200,000 in 2027 and 210,000 in 2028.
